How Oracle Fusion and ZATCA Integration Works?

Accqrate`s E-invoicing package for Accqrate`s E-invoicing package for Oracle Fusion operates in real-time for Tax invoices and in batch mode forSimplified invoices , establishing a bridge with ZATCA (Fatoora Portal) This ensures that ZATCA-approved XMLs and PDFs, inclusive of QR codes, are systematically archived within Oracle systems. This approach streamlines the operational experience for business teams, overseeing:

1. Order-based invoices
2. Direct invoices
3. Credit and Debit memos

The Integration Process:

The process of handshake between Oracle Fusion to ZATCA happens as explained below:

Company Onboarding:

Upon successful registration in Fatoora and receipt of the OTP, Accqrate provides an avenue to onboard your firm to ZATCAs e-invoicing portal.

Subsequently, essential components like Certificates, CSIDs, Digital signatures, and secret keys are automatically generated. This API will do the magic for you to integrate with your Oracle ERP.

E-invoicing package deployment:

The below example shows the OCI based integration. In the background, this integration process will call the Accqrate plug-in that can seamlessly communicate with ZATCA and get the invoice approvals.

Invoice Generation within Oracle:

This is illustrated using sales order-based invoice integration. However, the procedure remains consistent for other forms like direct invoices, credit, and debit memos.

In the orchestration process, complete the order fulfillment. The status will be in “Awaiting billing”

Search the order and select the “Fulfillment View”

Process the orchestration number that was generated

The invoice will be moved to the “Billed” status

Transmission of Invoice to ZATCA:

The system, post the billing stage, processes the invoices automatically. Nonetheless, users retain the discretion to initiate this procedure manually. Ideally for Simplified invoices,the integration process is scheduled once per day and for tax invoices the process is triggered on a real time basis.

The below example shows how to trigger the e-invoicing integration process manually

In few milliseconds, the response (approval or rejection) is received from ZATCA

For rejected invoices, the error messages are recorded For approved invoices, the XML, QR code and UDIDs are returned back to Oracle from Accqrate middleware.

The XML is saved in Oracle for Auditing purposes.

Document Archiving in Oracle:

The PDFs and XMLs are archived in Oracle and can be referenced anytime.

The invoice is customized to show the PDF and XMLs. You can click the icon as shown below to view the invoice

Associated documents are listed

PDF will contain the QR code approved by ZATCA. This is applicable for Tax invoices for which the existing QR code logics will be replaced with the Phase 2 QR code. For simplified invoices, QR code need not be replaced.
